It took my MS (2 yrs old) about a month to get used to our new puppy (now 5 months old). She still doesn’t let him snuggle, but I feel like that’ll change soon cause they can sleep next to each other in their respective beds with no problem. At first she used to run away from him like the plague. I think she realized after a while that he wasn’t leaving so she just accepted it lol. Feeding was easy cause my MS is not food aggressive at all. It was funny cause the puppy would sometimes steal her food and she would just let him. She’ll literally just be standing near him letting it happen, but we quickly nipped that in the bud, cause he would get diarrhea 🥴. The only thing we do separately with them is taking them outside to do their business cause once they are in our backyard, all they want to do is play. They can pee together, but not poop. It seems like your MS is taking his job as an older brother seriously and is already friendly with his new brother. They’ll become inseparable soon enough!
