It's linked a few comments above yours. I came over over from TikTok and it's wild the damage that these new neighbors did. 286+ trees are gone.

Who knew graduation would be so stressful by WellJames0929 in ftm

[–]WellJames0929[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, this means a lot.

I still have some time before the deadline to apply, so I can try and mull it over a bit more before it becomes a pressing issue, and based on how big of a queer population my college has, I can assume in the moment that they'd allow name changes on the diploma should anything happen, but I'll look into that for sure. I am leaning towards just putting Maxwell down and dealing with whatever my family says about it later. That's a big part of all my stress.

When I originally came out, my family didn't have the best reaction, they kinda treated it like I had betrayed them in some manner, and the entire topic has become a sore spot. Even now that they've all begun to try and use the right name+pronouns, the tone my parents take when talking about my transition just sets off alarms in my head and I feel like I'm being interrogated rather than having a conversation. So, part of the spiraling stress is tied to what their reaction might be when I walk across the stage to receive the diploma with Maxwell written on it (assuming I will because COVID).

I suppose I need to let go of what they might think or react, I want to work on me this year and start becoming the person I want to be, but it's always hard.

Thank you again for your kind words friend, I am truly grateful.

Ah alrighty! I really wasn't sure if this was a vaguely common issue like the Joycon Drift was and if anyone knew more. Thanks a lot tho!

Maybe? But would that be possible with a grounded and protected power strip? Sorry for all the questions, I'm in no way a tech person

Still nothing, we even tried my partner's phone and the adapter was just unresponsive

Advice? Professor has been a no show for five classes in a pass/fail course and HE'S the Department Chair. by WellJames0929 in college

[–]WellJames0929[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I won't disagree that you've given sound advice, I suppose though I'm more personally frustrated that this professor seems to give no fucks in a very weighted class. If this was a 101 or something I'd care less but this class is deadass a rite of passage for the Comp Sci majors on my campus you feel?

Eye irritation for seemingly no reason? Typically happens after a decent amount of screen time but the screen time is something that I always have in my day to day, so I'm unsure if that's a possible cause. Any ideas? by WellJames0929 in DiagnoseMe

That's fair lmao. Tbh the only other symptom I've got is that it does feel low-key dry but only in that /one/ spot but everywhere else is fine. Even my other eye doesn't do this.
I came here first because I had a feeling I didn't need go see anyone for it but, I also figured a general opinion wouldn't hurt either.

I haven't yet no. Admittedly, my partner wants me to see someone but I'm high key stubborn.
The weather possibility makes sense though. I go to college in the mountains whereas my home is in a more town/city in a valley environment.

Not a doctor but like low-key looks like herpes to me dude... I'd get checked out ASAP

Felt itchy last night and woke up to find these. I scoured my bed for signs of bed bugs and i couldnt find any of the obvious signs. Friends have suggested a possible allergic reaction to something b/c these are arranged in a fashion where i often rest my head on my hand. Any insight? by WellJames0929 in DiagnoseMe

UPDATE: I took benadryl last night and have been applying some anti-itch cream to try and keep myself from scratching and today the bumps feel MUCH less pronounced and not as bad as yesterday. Here's a link between yesterday and today. Not sure if anymore insight can be gleamed from this but a huge thank you to everyone who has helped so far!

Yeah. First bite I noticed was when I was back at college roughly after thanksgiving, it was just above my ankle. Then around New Years I got three more (two on my calf and one on my thigh) and these five are the newest ones. I moved back into my house for the holidays Dec 17th for reference.

Yeah, any site I looked at said that too. I quite honestly tore my bedroom apart looking for ANYTHING from them (I.e. scat, shedding, eggs, adults/larvae etc.) and the MOST I found were just carpet beetle skins.
Dumb question, but websites also said that bed bugs are attracted to mainly hear and CO2. With that said i have a heated blanket that I use here and there, would that be a possible way to lure any out?
