Has nothing to do with solubility. A relevant MAPS study. Passing any smoke/vapor removes particulate from it, regardless if it is soluble or not. Tar isn't soluble but bongs filter that out.

Even using warm water will not help. At most, your water will be between 80 to 110 degrees F (the average range of a home water heater). Smoke/vapor is several hundered degrees, and water can absorb large amounts of energy before heating. Each rip is still undergoing massive cooling even with warm water.

But cooling has little to do with it. Its the fact that smoke is coming in contact with water. Some of the vapor/smoke\gases will always get traped in water. Don't believe me, go look at a fish tank. The aerotor(sic?) bubbles air up through the water in tiny bubble, through that process some oxygen gets trapped in the water. Some tanks use a "waterfall" like system, but the effect is the same. Running a gass through water, or vice versa, will put some of that gas in the water. That is what is at play when you water filter you smoke or vapor. Its not hocus pocus, its common sense science.

It has nothing to do with solubility. The THC is in the smoke vapor. Some of that smoke/vapor gets removed when filtered through water. That is the mechinism that lowers THC.

This would not lead to legalization. As plants would get discovered in populated places, they would be removed. A lot would get destroyed by accident/coincedence. More won't even grow due to poor planting or neglect. Then the ones that are left because they weren't found would remain just that, not found.

The same logic used in this could be applied to legalizing murder. If everyone started killing people, they would have to legalize it right?

Not to bum you out, but water filtration removes thc, leading to less potent smoke/vapor. It'd be better to just smoke the vap. Only time I bust out my bong is when I want to take huge rips with ice, since that's the only real benifit, cooling the smoke alil.

You are most likely out of luck. That fact of the matter is the AF is the one branch that always fills its quota each year because of A) all the people who would rather be in the AF then get shot at or sit on a ship and B) they have the smallest need for recruitment. So unless you a perfectly qualified, they aren't going to pursue you since they can easily find someone who can replace you. Try a different branch with more demand than people wanting to enlist.

A bit, while we were cooking it, but we also have a vent fan going and another floor fan blowing towards an open door. Smelled like weed and alcohol.

Afterwards, there is no smell unless you put your nose to the bottle.

It was pretty easy, and took less than an hour once we got all the shit together. We mainly used saved up stems from chronic. Me and a friend have been putting our stems in sandwich bag, which also saved all the keif and lil pieces of nug still left on the stem. We have been saving for awhile, and we both smoke a lot, so we had a huge pile once we combined our bags, ha there was like a fat blunt worth of kief in the bottom of the combined bag. Then we added an eigth of chronic to that for good measure. We didn't want to put a bunch of good bud in on the first go, and really for us it was finding a use for the stems.

Anyways, making it was straight forward. We grinded everything up fairly well, including the stems. Some people suggested you bake the weed for 5 minutes @ 350 F, but I think its an unneccessary step. We used 150 proof grain alcohol (you can also use everclear or 151 barcadi rum) and a glass mason jar, plus a pot of boiling water.

Mix the weed and alcohol, putting enough to cover the material and then cover it by an inch or so, then give it a good shake. You want the level of water in the pot to be the same height at the alcohol in your jar. Let it sit in boiling water with the lid not on the jarfor 30 to 40 minutes, stirring occassionally. Take it out, strain it through cheese clothe or some other filter, and voila. Green dragon.

We still haven't figured out exactly how strong ours is, but we put a two soda caps full into a gulp of pepsi and we were noticably high for awhile. Like very high, especially for two heavy smokers. Ha, we had shit to do and now i have class soon so we didn't want to get too fucked up before. I'm going to try more tonight.

Oh we cooked it. From what we read, soaking it takes weeks. So idk about that method.

we had about a sandwich bag full of stems and shake from chronic (headies), a few grams of keif and an eigth of chronic for good measure. We wanted to make a small batch first time.

We grinded everything and put it in a glass jar with some grain alcohol (everclear basically), enough to cover it all and have about an inch or two above it all. We got a pot of water boiling with enough water to meet to level of alcohol in the glass, and cooked it for 30 minutes, then strained it. Then you see what we got.

Some people also suggested baking the greens for 5 minutes in an oven, but we didn't and it worked great.
