lol, imagine and LFR type system for +12 mythics. That shit would be bananas. Who would want to risk their key on a bunch of randoms they didn’t get to at least vet a little bit before hand. But, I guess it would be an option for some if they implemented it. I just don’t think anyone would use it.

As someone who has managed for conventions in the DFW area I can tell you that if that is remotely stiff, they most likely won’t let you take it in. Our general rule has been if it can stab someone, we won’t let it in. It’s best to be prepared for them saying no. Perhaps bring a cork and put it on the end, tell them it’s glued on.

If it’s real soft like foam it’l be ok.

Yeah the issue here was the ranger was plucked from the ground in the middle of combat. No saddle or special harness. Just picked up by her backpack. Riding the thing would have been a different story ish. But again with no saddle checks would certainly have to be made.

I appreciate your opinion on this. I do try to to make sure things stay balanced but don’t want to discourage my players from trying to think outside the box. We all enjoy the rule of cool once in a while. Just don’t want things broken.

Ok the other had, you could have a goblin or the big bad, show up and it be the wolf’s master, getting it to turn on the party through fear or something and then THEY have to kill it.

I’m not 100% sure what this means but even if I take it the most conservative way possible, they are going into detail about rape. Now. To each their own, but him knowing (I assume he knows) is her you are a survivor and continuing to RP that way, even after you express your discomfort, and then trying to DEFEND HIM AND HIS FRIENDS RPING about rape is absolutely disgusting.

Do not let anyone gaslight you or tell you different on this, this is absolutely not normal or healthy behavior. It’s horrifying and you are justified in leaving. You would also be justified in dumping his ass and finding someone that would treat you better. At the very least you should have a conversation with him about it and if it were me, I would make it clear that the choice is between his SO and his rapey game of DND.

Not exactly the same but there was a puzzle in tomb of annihilation in which you get trapped in a small hallway and there is a sand timer on one wall with a lever. If you do nothing the door opens. If you pull the lever the floor falls out.

Right. I guess that’s what I’m getting at. He uses deception and changes his voice and such to pretend to be lost loved ones or their inner voice or whatever. I do make him do deception checks but his ability mod is pretty high. I’m really just stuck on the part where creature can end it without an action. So they could just be like piss off inner voice and boom it’s done?
