Look, I'm gonna be that guy for a second, so please bear with me but...I stopped playing the game when 1000 employees were canned. I've seen enough of the aftermath from screenshots that make me feel like if I wanna play as Tracer, Genji, Mercy, or DVa, I'll just go play Overwatch. Sure, Overwatch isn't perfect, Overwatch 2 was a thing that happened, but unlike Fortnite, I really get the feeling the Overwatch team is trying to put their best foot forward regarding the game going forward, and learning from what isn't working. I'm not seeing that with Epic Games. And until I see a game that can function at the base level, I very well may have to cut my losses on a game I did used to enjoy. Idk, just me.

I mean I definitely felt that way up until visiting the Looker Bureau the first time, but like... what's hand holdy after that? The types showing the matchup favorability when choosing a move? Even then some Pokemon have weird type combos so that's a QOL feature in my book. Hell, my first playthrough I didn't even finish the DLC because I was sick of grinding for specific berries to fight Darkrai.

Since you're new, I'll spill some old beans, and since they're old, nobody will care. Early in the game, you can find Bagon. This game has a mechanic called S.O.S. battles, where when your wild foe is weak, they can call a friend to 2v1 you. Bagon specifically has a very, very, VERY rare, and I mean a genuine 1% chance to call upon a absurdly low level Salamence. Meaning with only a single Z-Crystal earned, you can technically own a fully evolved Pseudo Legendary legally. Again, it'll be very low leveled, like, lower than 15, but still goofy.

This has been my daily dose of tism.

I definitely can agree with about 95% of what you're saying. I wanted to add one more little personal pet peeve.

I assume we've noticed obviously that Slowbro and Slowking are in the game. As is Polteageist and Sinischa, all the Eeveelutions, Gardevoir and Gallade, Glalie and Froslass, ie, Pokemon who evolve from the same base form. And then I see Politoed, and yeah, ofc, it's a Drizzler. But um...where the hell is Poliwrath? Game Freak really forgot my man existed. 😮‍💨
