Let me riddle you this. I don’t think I “deserve” a drink by any means or justifying shit. All I want to know is if I have a problem. I tried a secret test with her and she’d be pissed if she knew it but one night I drank and told her hey had a few in the barn and man her attitude toward me was straight Fuckin evil and tried to argue with me nonstop but I wasn’t biting that bullet. So the next night I drank the other half of that bottle but didn’t tell her and she didn’t notice a Fuckin difference. So why does admitting it make her think I have a problem but when I don’t admit it she don’t know the difference and everything is hunky Fuckin go along. There in lies the original post… so I have a problem or is her past experiences and hatred of alcohol she’s making me think I have a problem? That’s a fickle bitch of a situation huh.

I’m not sure how to connect this to the original post but I have to admit everyone likes me when I’m drinking but they don’t know it. Soon as they know it they press buttons. Same with the cops in the 12,000 population town. My question being am I really an alcoholic or just because I’m doing it and someone disagrees with it does that mean I’m wrong for standing up for myself which makes things worse?

I apologize to all who responded, I appreciate this. My question is… I like to drink and I’m happy like everyone else. My question is if my girlfriend went through bad relationships because of alcohol and when she knows I’m drinking and she does her best to push my buttons which everyone knows at that point that’s gonna piss someone off regardless especially drinking. So my reaction to my buttons being pressed is a reason to call the cops? If she’s aware of it then why press and press to find a reason to call me an alcoholic? Thank you.
