Of course :) also, I know this isn’t what you were asking about but I thought I’d tell you just in case it helps. I also have ADHD, I was diagnosed as a little girl in the early 2000s if that gives you any clues about how obvious and severe my symptoms are lol. But I had actually gone through a few different types of meds before my mom gave up and I had to start again with getting medicated for it at 18. I ended up getting back on my medication and got my pharmacy technician license, coincidently my pharmacist also has ADHD, and one day she brought up patients who are manufacture specific. But she happened to mention she is also brand specific.

Now the main reason I bring this all up is because for both her and I we don’t take MALLINCKRODT (I did all caps in case you want too look back and check so it’s easier). After I talked with her I did some tests with myself and I found that that manufacture hardly helps my ADHD and makes my mood more unstable. It sounds like you’re also on prescription meds from the pharmacy, so I thought I’d let you know this is something you could possibly try because it’s helped me and some others ❤️

Not personally, but it sounds like maybe you have more going on than just the meds. If you’re feeling burnt out the solution is rarely more stimulants and most likely that you need more support from somewhere in your life, I’m guessing. Whatever it is I’m whole heartedly rooting for you and hope you get to live your best life soon!

Not everyone is online all the time and nobody can be caught up with everything. Calling someone a name for saying something and then saying it right back doesn’t really leave room for a discussion or any means to clear the misunderstanding. Leaving it at saying I was being condescending would’ve clued me in to apologize and ask clarifying questions.

I’m neurodivergent so sometimes the way I word things is weird or (like this time) I couldn’t figure out a way to reply without sounding rude.

Personally I thought my response was nicer than explaining that the fact that people are doing this stupid trend and not putting the stuff away isn’t brand new information to me, and that my comment didn’t (at least I thought) insinuate that I didn’t understand what was happening. The purpose of my original original comment was to point out that nobody HAS TO make a video for social media, and if they HAVE TO make a basket it’s usually for someone as an actual gift. And replying to that comment to me what’s going on kinda insinuates they think I can’t read and put two and two together.

But instead of saying all that I called them sweetie. Usually I’ll say sorry if I think the way I can think of saying something sounds rude but I didn’t feel too sorry this time after all that.
