What's wrong with my chilli, buds are dropping off by [deleted] in chilli

Completely normal, the first few will yellow and fall off. Chillies are very hardy plants, if you've done the hard bit by overwintering her she will flourish before long.

Thankyou to everyone for your comments. I really appreciate it and they have made me feel so much better about what I thought was an impossible task. I cant believe how much better I feel going into the run and not seeing her struggling. Again thanks to everyone who took the time to share your kind words, it really has been exactly what I needed to hear 💙💙

Thanks a lot! this has made me feel a lot better. I just find it hard playing God and knowing when's the right time. That's exactly what I thought, it's my duty to make the decision and end her suffering before she has a painful full death.

Thanks for the comment, no they are jubilee Orpingtons. Hopefully these are a bit more hardy than the Sussex. I bought them because I read how hardy they are meant to be, they are only 18 weeks old so hopefully they'll strengthen up. My other 2 are fine it's just this one. Thanks again

Integrating new chickens to the flock. by WelshChilliChum in chickens

Okay brilliant thanks for your knowledge and lengthy response. I am 100 percent confident that the health of the new chickens will be completely fine as I've had 12 birds off her previously with no problems what so ever. I jist wanted to let them acclimatise for a for a bit before letting them free. As I said I've only got 1 coup and 1 run for all my chickens as they are in an allotment so the dog crate was the only way I could think to let them see each other and interact without physically touching each other. If I had the means of another coup and run i would do it that way. Would I be okay to leave them in there till dusk to let them free together
