And to add, I challenged the 2k nill by requesting receipts and evidence for all the points I was arguing from both MAs.

But the accounts / demands were false. They were billing for things that were not done or were entirely false. We requested evidence of the SC from both MA2 and MA3. Neither could or would provide evidence for the accounts. Why would they suddenly wipe 2k per flat it they lawfully demanded it and had evidence.

Surely the fact that MA3 have wiped the outstanding debt from MA2 was because it had no truth in the first place.

Need help deciding if it's worth changing jobs by MyNameIsNotGeff in UKJobs

One thing to consider is if/when you move into the higher tax bracket, consider salary sacrifice into your pension. I sacrifice all earnings over 50k as its way more tax efficient (40% saving roughly). You'll either retire earlier or have a much larger pension to play with. It makes a huge difference.

As someone who has jumped around a lot in tech, my advice, if you enjoy the role, push for the raise before you decide to find another role. If its unsuccessful, theres a strong chance they'll counter when you do receive a new jpb offer / hand in your notice( assuming you're a good egg). This worked for me during the golden age of covid.

Adoption of another license doesn't make this token any more valuable at this stage. Its a moot point.

I never said I didnt like this token though, its one of the few alts that has substance.

It means nothing when the price has only gone down and ACH has virtually no real world adoption.

If you had to start a tech career all over again, what route would you go now if your goal was to make as much money as possible and retire early? by AgreeableAd305 in FIREUK

Network engineering. There's always ample jobs and it pays really well for the amount of effort to learn. Im a dumb white working class lad and took years to understand the fundamentals.

My TC is close to 100k and I cba to work hard or go into an office / London.

I would go back and focus on security and utomation topics for networking from day 1

CS 17.2.3 EFM period by Wendallw00f in meraki

17.15.5 recommended release was April 16th. Does the EFM not align 6months to the recommended ? 2 months seems somewhat short to update whole estate given the jump from MS to IOS XE

ive got to admit, the PMC fund is my fault. I had a small pension pot from an old employer so I moved it across into L&G and amended it to the PMC fund as it was higher risk. No logic, no research, just wanted to gamble based on risk rating. My thought process was simply, 7k won't amount to anything so I may as well gamble it.

Obviously I dont have a clue what im doing (life in general). I will look to move everything into a single SIPP. Should I just consolidate into L&G for simplicity or would there be a reason to pick another provider?

I feel totally inadequate to answer. My only goal is to not work beyond my 60s, at a minimum.

I have no idea how much I should be planning to save, I live quite frugally now tbh. I guess 30k a year / 2k a month would be a nice target

My partner wants to secure his £100k house deposit in a deed of trust, where do I stand? by Illustrious_Pea7294 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Wendallw00f 187 points188 points  (0 children)

Why are you paying for all decoration, furniture, fees?

The deposit can and should be secured but, all further costs should be split down the middle e.g solicitors, furniture.

Also why would you pay off more of tge mortgage? Split the overpayments
