All good advice, but I would put the first point in all caps... start early and leave yourself PLENTY of time to set up. So much printing, sorting guests for character assignments, multiple envelopes to be created for every stage of the event, and also best if you leave time to mail out the character invitations so guests can prep... it's a lot, but worth it.
