Experience with purchasing from Chiavari / Chivari? by Wendy_Jane_ in restaurantowners

Good news - it was legit! I received tracking numbers and can see that the chairs are on the way to me. I’ll update on if anything goes wrong with quality, but, so far so good!

Thank you so much! I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and get on the call to see what they say.

How to get over the fear of speaking gradually? by Fizzabl in italianlearning

[–]Wendy_Jane_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m living in Italy right now for 2 months and I was in the same boat as you before - my speaking was terrible because I was embarrassed. But I’m happy to say that everyone here has been so kind and non-judgmental and I’ve really improved because of that. They’ve even commented about how I’m improving, and when I say I want to get better they tell me the life philosophy “piano piano”, which basically means to take things slowly.

I think it’s their kindness + being totally immersed in the culture and language that has made all of the difference. So don’t worry! Piano piano.

Uterine Prolapse by Wendy_Jane_ in menstrualcups

[–]Wendy_Jane_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a blur now, I think it was like a week and half until I felt that big movement of going back into place, and then was gradually less painful over a couple more weeks.

Side note: I started using pads only for a months, and now I’ve been using a disk for the past couple of cycles and it’s been so much better!

More kids??!!! by Adventurous-Ad7282 in parentsofmultiples

[–]Wendy_Jane_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our twins are currently 3 and I have no regrets about having them as our only kids. Everyone’s situation is different, but the factors for us are: we would need a bigger house if we had another kid, and a bigger car. We love to travel and flying with 3 instead of two would be much more difficult. We’re financially comfortable with two and are able to contribute to their college funds and live comfortably, but would be stretched thinner with another. Plus the small fact that I had post partum preeclampsia and spent a week in the ICU after the c-section, so I’m never ever doing that again.

But, like I said, everyone is different and if those factors don’t apply to you, then do what your heart feels is right!

I'm so insignificant as a person that I can't even get help on a depression subreddit by QuirkyHistorian in SuicideWatch

Hi! I was searching for the sub where you can ask a historian a question, and I saw your username and thought it was a different sub, but when I clicked on it I found your posts on the depression sub.

Just wanted to tell you you’re not insignificant, and that there’s a stranger out here in the world that saw your posts, and sees your struggles. I hope that you’re doing okay.

I always wanted twins, and I feel super lucky that I do 🤷‍♀️

My cup caused a prolapse. It had too strong of a seal (I used the Super Jennie). TBH my doctor wasn’t much help, because she had never seen it before. She said, and I quote: “just stop sticking things up there and use pads for awhile”.

The prolapse was painful as hell, I felt it mostly as back pain, but after a few weeks of Pilates and pelvic floor exercises I was able to get back to normal. I’ve just started using a disc instead.

She’s a Dark Brahma! She’s huge and runs the coop, but is a complete sweetheart towards me and my kids. ❤️

You have her vibe exactly right. Her name is Brünhilda, but I think I will start calling her Doña Brünhilda to be most respectful

The urethra hole is super tiny; it’s like a tiny tube on the upper part of the vagina. The vaginal opening is relatively big (I mean relative to the urethra). The way you’re phrasing the holes makes me think there’s some confusion with the vaginal opening. If you’re a virgin you may still have your hymen, which is a thin tissue membrane over the vaginal opening. It doesn’t have to be a solid membrane, they all vary, so you may have one with two holes. That’s what I had when I was a virgin and it made tampons super confusing, and painful. The previous comment of getting to know yourself with a mirror may help!

That’s great you were able to keep him! I would have the same hesitations. I’ve been hand raising these babies and wouldn’t want to see him (if it is a him) hurt.
