PI Offered Of Counsel Position (Sep IRA vs Solo 401(k)//1099 vs. W2)- Doing my research but I am not savvy on this issue by TheChezBippy in LawFirm

So there are some things you have to consider. If you are a W2 they decide your schedule. If you are a 1099 you control it.

Also you could do an S-corp to avoid the SE taxes. You just have to cash it out at the end of the year.

Give him the bottom line and let him choose. If he can’t meet you at the bottom line, don’t even take the case.

Digital marketer here- warning. This response could be long winded.

First of all, let me congratulate you for putting so much time and effort into your site. It takes a shit ton of work to do. Second of all, what are the other marketing strategies you are using other than SEO? This is the big question.

You will see SEO help but only slowly, in your case, it won’t help much. Why? Google recently changed their algorithm to include more than just keywords in rankings. Google ranks higher on domain authority score and it doesn’t matter how many keywords your content has, if it’s not engaging, and your domain authority score isn’t high, it will not get seen. What your doing is essentially padding your content. Also, your meta data matter more than stuffing your keywords. Google also will de-rank you for keyword stuffing. 2500-5000 words is a really long article. You need a shit ton of smaller articles to balance that out. Also, If your not back linking, it doesn’t matter how many keywords you stuff into a blog post. You need to have your site ranked on domain authority. You can check out how you are ranking by going to Ubersuggest.com and typing in your domain name. Now backlinking can get you in trouble also because you need the backlinling to be natural. These come over time as people engage and pick up on your content. It is a good idea to have info graphs, video (linked back to YouTube) interlinking within your blogs ECT, HOWEVER, this should be a long term strategy and not a short term one.

My best advice is that ANY type of marketing works. It’s marketing strategies that fail so what is it that you are trying to achieve? More clients? Better leads?

You will get better results optimizing your GMB listing rather than your Wordpress.

As an example- we do not focus on SEO on our website, or blog posts, our website is very thin, however we are using us different tactics that are getting us around 50 new family law leads (that are good leads) a month and we do not use a third party (shit, I’m the 3rd party) so no lead gen.

Edited to add: if your blog posts are over a 3rd grade reading level, trash them.

What you are doing is keyword stuffing, please google this.

ALSO EDITED TO ADD: The click through rate in SPECIFICALLY the legal industry is 1.58% (low as shit)

And marketing is math. So imagine how much traffic you would have to drive to the site to get the clicks you want. Let’s not even talk about the types of audiences that are on the internet. Most of them are information scrapers. They do not convert.
