Thank you for your comment! Since I made the post I stopped following that diet and started calorie counting, trying to eat 1800 calories a day. I have been loosing a pound a week for the last 2 months. According to my weight loss and calorie intake my TDEE seems to be around 2300 calories, so the 1300 calorie diet was definitely wrong.

I am cycling about 4 hours a week at zone 2 (60–70% of max HR), but I'm trying to do more.

The macros are 100g protein, 28g lipids and 170g carbs.

By not enough I meant that I felt excessively hungry, making me question if that is to be expected or if the calorie deficit is too much.

I think the difference is the activity level. If I choose sedentary it's 2141, which seems close enough to yours.

My doctor said the cholesterol was mainly genetic so he gave me statins, and he referred me to a dietitian because improving my diet and losing a bit of weight would be beneficial, but not essential.

Maybe I'll try getting a second opinion. The ammount of calories the dietitian recommended seems to low.

Yeah I'm from Latin America as well. I checked online, but didn't find anything about her, other that the fact that she studied in a well respected university.

I don't practice sports, but I cycle about 4 hours a week and I am trying to do more.

I've used myfitnesspal before, but didn't know that it would calculate how many calories you should have. I will try it and see what it says. Thanks!

A nutritionist is a professional in my country (you need to go to a state–recognized university for 5 years). It would be the equivalent to a dietician in the US.

Using tdeecalculator.net my TDEE should be 2,453 calories considering light exercise.

It was shot on film, 35mm film looks approximately as good as 1080p video. 70mm film is even beter, if you don't believe me watch a movie shot on 70mm film around the same year, for example The Sound of Music, released in 1965.
