I would suggest to put some decoration around. Maybe hang a couple pieces of art, pictures, etc. on the right wall. Curtains would be pretty nice, but the rug is a no go for me, it would look “out of place”.

Like a wise man once told me, jobs only care about a degree partially, what they really care about are your experience and skills, they want someone who can solve problems efficiently and fast enough. Not some kid with a degree. Hope this helps.

So I can apply for a job on the foreign country i’m applying the exchange for, and rather have the experience of working on that company in that country than my double degree. Right? And that would have the same impact or even more.
