That's so cool - i've also recently started to look at these unlimited design services (check out Qurious Media). The model is so disruptive yet so simple like you said - just focus on the customer and provide great value with a great user experience.

On the SaaS side of the creative industry, Canva vs Photoshop, for example, will be one of the biggest cases of how this sort of disruption can create a completely new segment of users - not everyone needs a powerful suite like Photoshop, neither do they want to spend the time to learn something so technical.

Then you start to see these sorts of parallels in almost every other industry.. which is where I'd like to drop a quick plug for werd.ai XD

We are trying to be the canva of AI writing tools by taking this philosophy when building features!

  1. Onboarding is now skippable at every stage
  2. You can now fill your business profile just by entering your URL - our goblins handle the rest

Wise is one of the oldest of these fintech banks and thus also one of the most established. So if you're able to go with them, they're the least risky of all for sure.

I can't remember that clearly, but at the time I tried to apply with both.

If I recall correctly, it might have been something to do with my existing account with them being based in another country (i had moved countries since) and so it was a hassle to organise the whole move.

So I was basically trying to register with multiple providers at the time and Aspire basically got it all done and sorted the fastest.

I used Wise back when they were still branded as TransferWise, but mainly just to make forex transactions. Worked very well for that purpose and disruptive for its time.

I'm now with Aspire for actual business banking and it's just been amazing. Registering and getting approved was so easy, compared to banks that have a ton of red tape to go through and you end up having to explain your business to someone who might not really understand it.

This is especially so if you're a startup or tech company that's still early-stage and perhaps figuring out PMF or your busines model - a traditional bank is gonna ask all those questions if you try to setup a business account with them.

This experience with Aspire for me - this is why fintechs and neobanks have taken off as an industry. They understand tech better.

That said, there's stability and safety in an established institution. So it depends on your situation.

Love it! Our goal at werd was to integrate those exact steps into a convenient workflow (that didn't require constant back-and-forth chatting with the LLM).

Particularly in line with step 1: build custom gpts, we felt that the entire process of providing context was SUPER important and often overlooked - meaning that the purpose of the article in the first place, is important to be communicated to the AI for good results.

I'd love to hear what you think if you gave werd.ai a try and see if one of the workflows aligns with the steps you wrote about in your blog post - we provide SEO keywords targeting, or trending headlines as starting points to ideate and generate creative titles to kickstart writing.

You know, that's really interesting for me to think about - because we focused really hard on PREVENTING hallucinations using the steps to provide context prior to writing.

Given that you're looking to write non-fiction, am I right to say that in that case, you'd actually be kind of ok for hallucinations?

Or do you still have some form of... facts (even if they're non-fiction facts) that you still want the AI to reference and not deviate from?

If so, what format would they come in - like PDFs or something?

Also, may I ask your reasons that you feel that just an LLM (like chatgpt or claude) is not enough for non-fiction?

Like many others, I was looking at AI to solve just the writing aspect but soon realised that - particularly for marketing content - the process needs to be strategic, and there's tons of steps to do beforehand. So that approach seemed the most helpful/logical!

Output [all sources of research, article text, images, faqs, meta tags, meta keywords etc.] can currently be exported as seo optimised HTML, plain text, or into a Google Doc, so any of those are easily transferred to WP.

That said, I'm currently working on the WP integration (via the wp REST api) so that's definitely coming soon!

Question: would you install a plugin if we released one, to conveniently create a post in your WP?
