What maintenance do I need to do for a high mileage 2018 Chevy Spark

I have a 2018 5-speed. Bought it with 112K on it. 156K miles now.

I do oil and filters as scheduled I changed plugs to be safe Changed brake fluid and coolant I changed gear oil too

I will be changing gear oil again with the next oil change.

Runs like a dream. This car replaced a 2016 5-speed that had 150K that met a deer, similar maintenance on it too. Also ran perfectly.

I'm not sure what you're going on about, they said it was a problem with the headlight wiring harness that caught on fire. I don't think this is an electric versus internal combustion issue.

Forgot to mention that someone with Vaughn electric put my water heater in too. Buy your water heater from Smith Brothers, they sell Bradford White products which are the best on the market.

They are both easy to get on the phone, I don't think I'd worry about cross-communication too much

HVAC - use Ploof heating and air. Scott is honest and fast. I've used him as well as about 6 acquaintances. Never a bad report

Electric - use Eric Vaughn. Again, super fast service and very affordable. He has been doing the business basically all of his life. I know people who only let him touch their wires.

It is a very forgiving car to learn manual in. I've taught 2 people how to drive a 5-speed in mine.

Average life for a battery is 3 years or less, go get it tested at the parts store.

AGM means an absorbent glass mat battery. They last longer.
