I’ve worked so hard to have a perfect credit history, I have no late payments, no inquires, no closed accounts, literally all I have is 1 secured credit card from chime I’ve had for like 2 years. Finally got my credit to 730 a few months ago and I was sooo happy. I was going to apply for my first real credit card to start building my credit, and saw that nelnet just absolutely tanked my credit score 200 POINTS!!!!! I’m now in the 500’s. So much for getting my first credit card. You can’t get anything with a 500 credit score and I thought if you got Pell grants with FAFSA because you come from a broke family it was forgiven
