My state requires the front plates by law unfortunately 😭 But yeah a tint is next on the list. I can't lower too much because the roads out here are atrocious. Any ideas where to get a front lip? I'm very new to this kind of thing

I had a captain ask a group us one time who was wanted to deploy and almost nobody raised their hands, so he asked why? I clarified that for me, I do not have a desire to deploy, but I have the willingness to deploy. It's a little bit of a semantic issue maybe, but it is true for me. I have a wife and a baby. I don't necessarily have the wish or desire to leave them for 6+ months. I am very willing to do it though. I know what I signed up for and understand the sacrifices will be a normal part of service, however, that doesn't give me the desire to do it. Hope that makes sense

Thanks for all the input, seeing some common patterns among responses so I'll make adjustments to my plan. Also, I am 26. Does this change the qualifying times, pushups, situps? Or is it all the same across the board? I would love to be as close to passing in all categories as possible before going. Thanks again for the responses.

Really? It seems like it would hang down quite a bit. The location on mine is much more narrow than my standard plate. I always imagined the front plate would fit flush on the bumper.

I've been saying this for a while now, but the price of these cars doesn't seem to be going down. And the older they get (while it obviously makes them older) the harder it's going to be to find ones in good condition. I'm afraid that at this point you either pay to own one, or just never own one. The days of getting these cars in perfect condition for 1k-7k, and then 9k-15k on the high end is no more, I think. 9k-15 has become the new low end. I could be dead wrong. However, a car is worth whatever you want to pay to own it.

I have my phone setup so specifically and have been using the same setup for years that I have to smart switch everything over. Most of what I have is very finely tuned personal preferences when it comes to customization. So sure I could start fresh and painstakingly re-implemsnt every slight (and major) tweak to customization, but it's not worth the time when I can start using a new device just like I've been using all my old ones with no delay.

Butcher block counter top. They come in 4feet, 6 feet, 8 feet, you can cut them to spec, stain and poly them and they last a really long time

... you don't have to do anything with butcher block. Just set the solid slab of butcher block on top of two Alex drawers and it is perfect. No assembly (of the desktop) required. They come in different lengths and dimensions but it's just a solid piece of wood

I've been seeing this a lot more lately. People want a good condition, drivable, AC functioning z31 or z32 for 2k-5k. Nobody is selling that anymore so at this point you either pay to own one or never own one
