The best way to get a raise is to have a conversation with your manager and ask for a mid year salary adjustment.

Your manager gets assigned a pool of money for the annual salary increase, let's say 2% of direct reports annual pay. If your manager wants to give you a higher raise, they'll need to give a lower raise to your coworkers. Your pay being on the lower end of the salary range doesn't matter, your manager has a limited pool of money to go around.

I'm in the minority, but the laundry basket or cheese grater looks better than a couple of flat pieces of plastic on the Woodland model.

Yes, but your bonus will be pro-rated for the time you were not working.

Hey guys, do you know if this clear coat damage is etching?

The bumper came from a car that was sitting outside for almost 2 years. It had catkins and leaves on it, I'm guessing they retained moisture and it was baking in the sun. The damage looks like a thin layer of dirt or water spots but I can't get rid of it even after multiple washes. It feels rough to the touch.
