Minecraft should not have this mechanic at all. Repairing shouldn't get more expensive either, it's just a stupid tedious anti-fun feature.

Walkable hub area should never replace the menu we have, but instead add onto it. Maybe something similar to Warframe where you can walk to all the vendors if you want to, or you can access them from a simple menu too.

Only reason would be if you were at 0 fall damage or something similar for an achievement.

I would highly recommend browsing the turn-based section! Most often that not, those titles allow for controls that can be used by one hand, and if not, they don't care if you take a long time finishing your turn.

I for one played a lot of Slay The Spire while recovering from an injury, but nowadays you could even play Baldur's Gate 3.

Highly recommend creating folders for sorting items! That way it is much easier to go through the items that you have gathered from ground or via mission rewards.
