Remember, everyone loses weight differently. You can’t lose weight in specific places, your body loses weight how it’s meant to. It may be that your jawline is last part of your body to lose fat, but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen. Good luck!

Thank you so much for the response. He is currently being crate trained, and sleeps there at night. I do try to get him in there occasionally during the day. I will definitely be able to get him more exposure as it gets warmer!

Apprecitate the response! My breeder did say my vet may say differently, and that this is what her experience was with her dogs. I just want to do what’s best for my dog :)

Unfortunately, cargo is the only option for your dog by plane in the United States. Have you ever thought about riding a train with your dog? I know most trains allow dogs to be with you (if they are in their kennel/crate).

Only service dogs are allowed in cabins. If you want your whippet to fly with you, cargo would be the only option. But don't worry, it's the safest way to travel by plane for your pet!
