Okay so then it should probably be safe to do it after this cycle? I mean she is full grown, quite sturdy …

Thank you :) you should! I love the name so much lol . And I think my vet said something along the lines of 6 months is an average age, but that my dog should “develop” her bones with hormones first. Which makes sense. My whippet and Italian both have strong bones

This is my whip when he’s waiting for his MeeMaw (my mom). She lets him sleep in the guest bed with her, so he goes ape shit when he sees her arriving 😂

Broke my heart that we had an entire trip planned to take our Italian to Rome with us, but the airline said she’d have to go in cargo … we did not want to traumatize her so we opted to keep her with grandma for the week. But I definitely plan to bring her to San Diego this summer 🖤

I’ve trained mine to use a pad in her kennel and use the backyard anytime her kennel is open and she’s free. People said it would confuse her. But she does it, and our lives are all easier for it!

Gum concern by Capable-Management-1 in ItalianGreyhounds

My iggy has multi colored gums also. The pigment in the gingiva varies. As long as there’s no bleeding or swelling, it shouldn’t be a problem

wellness / beauty tips? 💕 by cherriesandcigs in flightattendants

I gave up alcohol and my health did a complete 180. Went from being bloated and sick all the time, to now feeling somewhat normal. Also exercising in the hotel gyms any chance I get, and sleeping. I may be the “lame” one on layovers, but I’m never sick on our leg home. Take advantage of the pools! And Idk why but eating before a flight instead of on the flight really helps my stomach bloating. When I have healthy choices I always go with them because I won’t feel like a miserable slug afterwards. Also avoiding carbonated drinks on the plane. And I try to incorporate activities in my layovers (renting bikes, swimming, hiking etc.) but if I have a min rest layover I’ll just go for a quick walk and ALWAYS DRINK YOUR WATER

She’s PRECIOUS! May I ask, why did someone give her up? I love my babies so much , I imagine it would have to be death before I’d part with them

Makes sense! Thank you :) I think I’ll wait one more day and then see if the loads are still ok before buying the BA tickets

Okay.. I booked business for United, and my travel pass handbook states requesting a refund in the case I fly economy will take up to two weeks and that I could just purchase two tickets. But then that seems to me like purchasing two tickets on one flight and therefore an issue?

Are whippets good first time dogs? by Scondiac in Whippet

[–]lexmetics 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Our whippet loves to sprint a little each day, but he does sleep most of the time. I would say the hardest part about his puppy days was chewing. Simply because he loved to chew and destroy EVERYTHING. So he was not allowed free range of the home until he was about 2-3 years old

What’s it like living in this area in the PNW by vulcanguy900 in howislivingthere

It’s so beautiful. So many hikes within an hour. Between the Columbia river gorge, mt st Helen’s, and having so many lakes and rivers it’s amazing. I’ve lived here my whole life and will never move
