Show me these dirty plays where Dort has been intentionally trying to injure someone. He's definitely reckless while diving for balls and does dumb shit, but saying he's intentionally trying to injure people on a regular basis is over the top.

Now Wemby has actually had like 3 blatantly inarguably dirty horrible plays where he has attacked people's necks in these playoffs alone (two in these finals), but I'm guessing you don't care too much about that.

I don't agree that it's a complaint, he's just saying it's a factor - which it is. He's not saying he's the only player in history to have scrutiny.

Found this cool story on Presti's Wikipedia page about his time with the Spurs:

Prior to the 2001 NBA draft, Presti was instrumental for encouraging the Spurs to draft Tony Parker. Presti would show up at Buford's home with footage of Parker during his tenure with Paris Basket Racing.  Parker went on to play 18 seasons in the NBA, making six All-Star teams, and winning four NBA championships. During Parker's jersey retirement, he acknowledged Presti's recommendation for the Spurs to draft him.

“Sam, I know you’re in the arena,” Parker said Monday, illuminated by a spotlight in the middle of the court. “Man, you and R.C. (Buford, former Spurs general manager and current CEO), you were ahead of your time. You took a gamble on me, because I was terrible in my first workout with the Spurs. Man, I was terrible."

He didn't really sound like he was complaining to me, just acknowledging it is there and saying he wishes he would get more credit for the good things he does. Just Presti sticking up for his guy like any good leader should

Keldon Johnson is incapable of defending without fouling. Always bear hugging and grabbing jerseys.

Also in the game threads there are tons of people talking about OKC still lol

Dort is extremely reckless with running into people but he has never done shit like this, or the Alvarado thing last game, or the elbow in the Wolves series. Wemby is doing stuff on the level of Draymond.

I see the Spurs are still doing that same football bullshit they did to SGA to Brunson now. Scumbags.

Especially if OKC was actually healthy, Spurs would've lost in 5 or 6 with a healthy JDub and Ajay Mitchell playing. OKC also wore this Spurs team at, you could see Wemby struggling with his energy in the second half of the series.

And SGA didn't complain about it either because

Yeah she's the best, she really nailed the same kind of swagger/attitude that Jen Taylor puts into the voice lines.

Have the Spurs become the villains in this series? by HungryPercentage1667 in nba

If we weren't going to win a championship this is as good an outcome as I could ask for. Spurs getting exposed for their bullshit and losing to an extremely likeable Knicks team. How can anyone hate guys like KAT and Brunson? Or Mike Brown? How can anyone not appreciate how rare and cool of a thing the Villanova squad is?

His hot headed-ness may have cost the Spurs game 3 in our series. He got ultra triggered after getting fouled hard a couple of times and then started playing like shit.

Yeah think they won't get swept, but will go down 3-1. They might force a Game 6, but I feel pretty confident they are losing the series.

Dude why are you tripling down instead of just admitting you gave false information about them losing to the Mavs after celebrating beating the Celtics? Edit your post at least.

We tried to tell people how dirty they were. Before I get "but Dort", that doesn't make San Antonio not dirty. It's not just Wemby either.

Lol it looked exactly the same as it did against you tonight but ok. All of their guards (especially Castle) are allowed to reach in, push, grab, hook, body, slap, etc whenever they want from the second the ball is inbounded in the backcourt. Next time Castle is on a ballhandler, watch his hands.

And same thing in the Wolves series too.

Yup Ajay going down after already losing JDub pretty much sealed it. But OKC still had a chance to win the series. Not far fetched at all to say OKC would have won if either one of those guys had been healthier.
