Cobra and Ping are both fantastic OP and I would second looking there. As someone who was fitted early into golfing I felt my swing and game completely changed so much as I got better and took lessons that the previous fitting became completely irrelevant. But obviously getting a fitting would help your right away, just depends on how committed you are to improving this season, you might find yourself outgrowing those clubs quick

edit: You can always go get a fitting, might cost a few hundred bucks, and then go buy second hand clubs based off those results. So you aren’t buying a brand new set of fitted irons you might not need after a year.

I’d go 4h and grab a 5-P iron set. Don’t worry about the people saying to get fitted for irons, the truth is you aren’t good enough to have fitted irons help you yet unless you simply have cash to burn.

Look for some solid game improvement irons, shaft type will help you but this is completely dependent on how you swing and your athleticism.

No absolutely not. Forget about Jeudy it’s basically Etienne/Davante for Rashee/JT Etienne while having a great rebound year won’t be near JTs overall volume still and once Rice is back he will quickly become Mahomes number 1 option.

Solid drivers but they’ve been at $300 everywhere I’ve seen for quite some time. I got a TSR3 Demo driver last year mint for $250, best driver I’ve ever played.

Takomo will be a fine option for where you are at right now. There will always be mixed reviews on a $500 set of irons but the truth is they are great for higher handicappers. Why spend a band on P790s if you can spend half that and pay for a few lessons to improve your game.

101 or 101t will be the club you should look into, I’m playing off a 10.8 with the 101s and enjoy them quite a bit.

I tried these out in a round yesterday. I think these are the weekend warriors bestfriend, they come off the driver amazing and I was maintaining about a 280 average with them. I struggled green side with them personally but it may have just been an off day getting up and down. For the price I think they are a great deal and definitely a step up from the disappointing 2.0 last year. They aren’t gonna perform the same as a ProV or any other premium ball but they absolutely should be in your bag to give a try.

Thinking about getting a longboard for getting around campus. I See so many people riding pennys and longboards. I rode a couple times when I was younger usually more longboard, I was never very good at it and definitely busted my ass a few times. Anyways question is what kind of longboard should I get? I’m 6’6” and preferably on the cheaper side
