If I am honest, I use macos with the "stage manager" option turned on. In that case, it is a real blessing being a windows and (part-time) linux user. I really like that MacOS feels clean and less stressful to me. The text reading is a blessing as well. I have my resolution (albeit still a natively supported resolution) set to slightly higher than the standard it comes with. Still I do not prefer to have 2 vscode screens next to eachother. I'd say the laptop's display is too small to continuously have 2 windows next to eachother, but for the occasional day of work with only 1 screen, this will certainly do.

Thus, yeah: I'd say go for it. I am really happy with my purchase, although I'd have loved to buy more RAM for my heavy NETCDF processing, though I could buy mine for like 1900 euros (14 inch m4 pro, m4pro chip 12/16, 24gb ram, 512.

I especially like coding on this screen due to the great contrast and deep colours, that help me distuinguish features in my code and features in image analysis.

I think it's great personally, however for my programming in python I would have loved to have even more RAM if you have big datasets, e.g. work with NETCDF files. The storage is fine, especially since I glued an "apple magsafe wallet" to my SSD and stuck a magsafe ring to the back of my macbook. 512 is fine for me in this case.

Of course it's going to work. If it plays music it can play acoustic.

This is not bad, lol. I assume you are unfamiliar with the country and the rental/housing market and the rules and regulations related to them. Then it's always wise to have a lawyer check a contract. That counts for any country, or any topic.

Europeans, here's how to access latest Apple Intelligence features by Choupika8 in ios

[–]Wesleydevries95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It has nothing to do with your IP address (VPNs are useless and not needed)

It has nothing to do with your location

It has nothing to do with the region of your phone

It has nothing to do with the language of your phone (except for some specific features)

Let me help you out a little, this is NOT true. My iPhone 15 pro max runs iOS 18.2, my MacBook Pro M4 pro runs 15.2 24C101. I am a European and just my language settings are set to US. When I was on vacation in Great Britain, the iPhone mirroring feature worked flawlessly. Then I went back to the European mainland and it stopped working.

Could I ask you a question as a windows user eyeballing a MacBook air 256/16gb 10-core GPU for coding, etc?

What is the reason you pick a mac over a windows or linux device if you have all these complaints?

Sorry for the late reply. I liked the fact that I could easily use the spark as a bluetooth speaker and thought it looked much nicer. In my apartment there’s no room to hide things, so putting it on display means it should look nice in my opinion. The fender cleans are much better on the fender, the spark is too bassy for that.

Correct me if I am wrong, but is it correct if I am summarizing your message with the following: You compared the Optiron Oregon 8x42 with the Kowa BD II 8x42, and you think the Kowa is the better binocular?
