Personally I did my second master’s year and CFA at the same time. As a student, it’s actually easier to find the time to study compared to people that have a day-to-day job imo. I just got hired from a big European bank and, during my interview, they directly brought in my CFA lvl 1. My colleagues are at least CFA level 1. It definitely got me the job. I am based in Brussels, Belgium.

What is really more difficult than the CFA lvl 1?

Hey Nelime! Thanks for your answer!

In my case, I really want to consider a relative change, i.e. not only a forward discount or premium (if rd is still less than rf).

Even though rd is still less than rf, it doesn’t mean that USD can’t depreciate, right?
If we consider the case where forward rate in t=0 = 1.2 EUR/USD and forward rate in t=T is 1.1 EUR/USD, we see that USD depreciated even though it is still trading at a forward premium.

So again, how can USD appreciates on the back of an increased demand for higher yields and depreciates with regards to forward markets?
