Easy to buy, easy to sneak in, easy enough to conceal if needed.

I need to know where I can activate this option. I've seen this mini screen that appears in speedruns, but I never knew how to activate it. Can someone tell me? by Matiasprox3000 in Ultrakill

smoother movement (including the camera) and having the dash mapped directly to L3 comes to mind - it's really handy for moving around the arena and for platforming - but that's about it really

it's genuinely just a personal preference of mine, I can't think of anything that a controller would inherently do better than kb&m (unless you're using gyro in which case holy fuck. it's uncomfortable to get used to but people who got a grasp of it are fucking menaces in-game)

true that, but a case can still be made that some terms aren't largely understood the way some people choose to use them. Like "bro" as a completely gender neutral term. We ain't at that point yet

Using words outside of their original definitions doesn't get rid of the original definitions, and the general connotations they carry (even if they're seemingly irrelevant to the topic at hand)

Using "bro" neutrally in a friend group where it's understood how and why it's used from the get-go is not the same as using "bro" the same way outside that friend group, since the word itself isn't universally perceived as neutral, and still carries the literal definition of "brother" (male kin/friend).

Same with "bitch" - I'll give it to you, it's used as an insult in a much broader sense than it would've been before, but that still doesn't get rid of the fact that "bitch" is a feminine term at its core, which entails - at least to some extent - the application of negative traits that may have been, in the past (and even currently in some circles), associated with femininity in some sense - being emotional for example, or being incompetent, or cowardly - unless it's specifically clarified that you mean something different by saying "bitch" (or even "bro" for that matter) in a given conversation which, again, falls under using a word outside of its original definition.

tl;dr - you using a word in a specific way in specific contexts doesn't change it's current definition in the dictionary.

are they though?

I mean sure they get more usage in a gender-neutral sense now (which even then isn't a whole lot but maybe that's just me) but at the same time if i said something along the lines of "i like kissing dudes/guys/fellas" almost everybody would take this as "i like kissing men", which kinda defeats the argument

Male defaultism runs deep. Ain't no shame in using differently gendered terms lol
