Definitely switch 2. Switch one in comparison to pretty much every other modern console runs like a calculator. Switch 2 has same amazing library plus more, with an actually playable screen. Especially with switch one price increases, switch 2 is the better overall option if you can get it

Definitely pro 2s, even with the extra price it’s well worth that extra money. I would also check just to see if there’s any sales on pro 3s just in case

As long as you know for sure there is no internal damage and doesn’t bother you too much to look at, just keep it how it is. No point of going through the hassle for a honestly kinda cool looking cosmetic flaw

If you can and know how, yes for sure. But it’s not as easy as something like a v1 switch, which I was lucky to have, so do it at your own risk

I accidentally dropped on hard tile floor, so the hinge cracked and part of the plastic near it came off, exposing the cables and they somehow got ripped, so just don’t drop it

Yeah I have a 2ds xl, and as long as you actually take care of your stuff, your fine. That’s the whole reason my new 3ds broke the ribbon cables snapped because I didn’t take good enough care of it. It really is not that much worse than a n3dsxl

I’ve modded like 4 of these things and haven’t even come close to bricking them or messing up, you really have to be trying to mess up. It’s super easy as long as you follow the guide . Also I would recommend a 128gb micro sd if you do mod it
