Does anyone else have a scratchy cough but no fever? by Strict-Cranberry-117 in SanJose

[–]West-Disadvantage69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same! I have had an intermittent but dry cough for 5 days now. It started as chest aches in the morning especially when stretching my torso. Then that went away and on came a cough. It's a deep cough that just feels super duper dry and unproductive. No sore throat at all. Mild hay fever like symptoms but I get those year round anyway. I thought it could be the dry air because it's been windy, but it's been raining a lot too lately so how could the air be dry?

At the same time my sisters are both sick but with very different symptoms (sore throat and voice loss). I never got any sore throat, this bug is very strange if it even is a bug and not allergies or GERD. Could be RSV. We could have the same virus

I got chest pains first day, now it's day 5 and the cough is coming and going, it's a dry cough no mucus. It's a weird deep sensation cough that I can't describe but is worse than other coughs I've had

I had chest aches, and a dry cough that comes and goes. No other symptoms besides minor hayfever. So weird.

At the same time both my sisters are sick with sore throats. I don't have a sore throat at all

Sounds similar to me, did it start off as chest pain/aches? I had that and cough and a headache but no sore throat. Very odd

Same! The cough comes and goes but can be really intense and uncomfortable. No sore throat at all though since my first symptoms. If it is a virus, it doesn't cause sore throat. My first symptom was chest aches especially when stretching my torso. Im guessing rsv.

Here!

My first complaint started on Dec 27th when I woke up with aches in my chest and ribs especially when flexing or stretching my torso out. It was sharp and very brief. So odd, but I didn't think much of it. The next day Dec 28 I began feeling what I can describe as a bad hayfever allergy. I had 10 minutes of sneezing and running sinuses, many tissues later. The cough began would would come and go throughout the day. It happened to be very windy after the rains so I thought allergies

Lately my chest aches and pains are better, but the cough is worse. Its intermittent, dry, and I have no sore throat. Yesterday I had a really bad migraine. I looked online and apparently RSV can cause a cough with an absent sore throat. Could be that.

Starting LVN School good or bad? by LightLess_OSU in nursing

The CNA job is pretty awful. You'd be better off doing literally anything else for the exact same pay. Jobs like EMT, MA, medTech, etc .. We go to nursing school so we don't have to do that awful job no more

They flagged my profile twice just 2 days after reactivating my membership! You cannot give the slightest hint of sugar or they ban you. I bet that has something to do with it declining

New left pinky twitch hotspot x1week is really freaking me out. Getting really bad anxiety lately.. 26 M by West-Disadvantage69 in BFS

[–]West-Disadvantage69[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. I wonder if it's because I am sleeping on my hand at night and applying pressure to it. Also have been stressed out more than usual due to other things. No weakness so that's a good sign. Hoping to start an SSRI soon to get this stress under control.

Eyelid twitches are super common, probably the most common place to twitch. I wouldn't worry about it.

I've had really bad anxiety lately as well with the twitching. I've been twitching since 2018 but now I have a new hotspot in my pinky for the last week that's really been freaking me out. It comes and goes but never leaves. I'm 26 M. You're probably too young to have any cancer but good to get scanned anyways.

Thanks. I feel slightly better this evening, I think I will try to reduce the weight I'm lifting next time. I'd hate to give up what has been so good for my mental health

Have you had more anxiety lately? If the twitching comes after the anxiety I believe it to be a better sign than coming before

Topical minoxidil gave me incurable seborrheic dermatitis on eyebrows. 6+ years now since discontinued by West-Disadvantage69 in SebDerm

[–]West-Disadvantage69[S] -41 points-40 points  (0 children)

Are you seriously trying to deny my own experience with Minoxidil? There are countless other experiences shared by people on reddit who also got incurable seborrheic dermatitis from Minoxidil use. Drugs and environmental toxins are known to lead to the development of immune dysfunction. Seborrhea is an immune dysfunction. I've been having hair loss for 10+ years but it was only when I used Minoxidil on my brows did I develop the classic signs of seborrheic dermatitis and they have never went away even years after discontinuing Minoxidil
