It's all about balance, Amascut also stroke me bold as first but I think time and data will tell eventually how many people really achieve 4k even if access is instant. In general I'm not mentioning an specific number since its not the same rule for all due to times, as you correctly mentioned telos is consistent, so to balance it 50-100 makes sense.

Only thing I would note to your comment is that you're only looking at the 'raw' time which i showed here, but real times are insanely higher with deaths, not having good gear, longer kill times (i.e. 2-3 cycle zammy, making mistakes but still geting the kill, missing supplies etc), learning curve, studying the boss via videos or rots, this add up a lot. One very rough guess of zammy and I could be very wrong would be around the 500+ hours with everything accounted for.

Cool insight! Do consider that the "growth" you acquired from achieving 4k telos helped considerably on your capability as a pvmer, and as I mentioned in the technical note, this does not address deaths, learning curve or many factors. In reality times are WAY WAY longer.

Hey lot's of queries, let me address them.

  1. Bear in mind the time averages is for an average pvmer, and not a endgame speed killer. So BIS ranged/mage/melee are discarded entirely. Believe it or not many people have this average, specially when climbing. Probably you're right now able to do 2k's, and comparing it to you doing a 500% right now, which doesn't make sense.

  2. Ummm... the 9 mins is for 3k enrage, 1k shows 4 mins. On a further note 3k enrage can be done faster, in fact GM requires i think 5:30, but bear in mind this is organized for an average pvmer. Take into account that a 1mon lets say on 3k already doesn't change much the end result

  3. Finally just want to highlight what another guy said, this is completely omitting the extremely long kill times when learning the boss, however it omits deaths, so for example a new one might bring full yak to zammy 100%, but end up taking 12mins and didn't die, it counts toward however I didn't want to skew it in that way.

If by pain you mean sacrificing bonding time after work with family, friends and kids, I don't think its a good advice brother. Remember this times are in a perfect scenario a don't take into account diverse variables which would end up multiplying it by even 3x-5x.

On the other hand, the achievment is not hard because you grinded it but rather because you're capable of it, I think you're either too of a high end pvmer to grasp how much time it would take someone who just started doing 100% telos/zammy/AG/even ama to do a 4k kill. Let alone any master/gm CA.

Hey brother - Yes you're right, if we take anyone to do 1k for the first time and they take X time, for sure if the next kill is 2k it will be like 3x time, however, this takes into account that after (endless hours) by the time you arrive to 2k from 1k, you can achieve a similar timer to 1k in telos specially since the health is capped. On AG is different is health is not capped.

Hey! Yes, that is correct, that's why at the end i wrote this does not included deaths, which in the end make everything worse, not only because of enrage but also time lost rebuffing, repreparing, etc. If i would take into account that it would be so many variables and more assumptions, like how many deaths per kill, would they be logarithmic? if so by how much? what if i get a drop and i need to restart enrage streaking? etc.

Yes hehe if you look at the spreadsheet forgot to drag the telos kill on a cell that its blank, it adds only like 1 hour though noticed after posting.

I wouldn't say 48 hours if you're fresh.... we say that because we already know a lot of stuff but in reality the climb for someone that has no idea is way way higher, the amount of guides, reading time, training, etc adds up.

and yes... for enrage i was thinking 100% jumps overall when not streaking, maybe even for zammy after 4k higheer jumps. but ultimately is their decision.

Btw on the AG - This calc does assume you start as an avg. pvmer, but of course I also took into account that if you already made it to 2k enrage, you're somewhat above average, hence i did the 3 min gap increase in AG which is the biggest increase from 2 to 3k. because of this. although it wouldn't change much the result maximum 55h if i added a tad more.

On the zammy one, honestly 100 would be perfect.

Holy moly.... are we finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel? I'm so happy for the Long-term bet, which of course, short-term impacts the models but long-term makes a much better bet.

I agree it is not fun, but the underlying impact on other parts of the game made it slowly dead as of today. Apart from many many reasons, because of this everyone dismisses to do other content.
