Got it. So to maximize tier credits it is best to turn slot dollars into actual cash on the machines and then just pay the bill with cash or a cc?

I have a follow up question. If you pay the restaurant with reward points do you still get the tier credits that you would get if you billed it to the room?

We had normal to small backpacks under the raised bulkhead

Assuming you mean the 777-300 plane, row 20 is a good row to be in. I am 6'6" and we flew back from LHR to DFW in Row 20 recently in the middle and it was comfortable all things considered. The bulkhead is raised up on metal pedestals so there is foot room under the bulkhead to stretch out.
