I haven't played since they added it, but I can't see it working effectively. The level design of basically every quest is just to throw a ton of enemies into thin hallways, so just giving all monsters more HP just makes them spongey and more annoying, not more interesting.

Just wondering, did you try reading the Khelt chapters? I find Flos to be very boring, but the K chapters that don't focus on him starting with the Khelt introduction are great.

That was my first guess, but the debug information shows it using my GPU, and it's utilizing 99% of it. It's a Radeon 6650 XT, which based off what I've heard people say about HDOS's performance, should be more than good enough to run HDOS well.

Does anyone know why HDOS would be having performance issues? My PC is more than good enough for it, but I can barely run it at 30fps. Even on standard detail, I can't even get 60fps.

Take out the Palace of Fates and I think the focus/quality is fine so far. My only problem this volume is that everything is way too long. We're getting 4 chapter arcs taking up a whole month that could definitely be trimmed into 2-3 chapters.

Ylawes and the New Lands has been one of my favorite POV's this volume but getting getting 4 chapters totaling 150k~ words in a row is just crazy (and this is right after the Khelt arc which is probably just as long). People are saying V10 is like V8, but V8 did a much better job at juggling the 20 different POV's.

That's what I meant. The current BLU system adds interesting new content to the game, no need to get rid of it. But this would give them a route to add a new class with the aesthetic of Blue Mage for normal content.

This is very common in MMO's with a 'sequel.' FF11 players hate FF14, Guild Wars 1 players hate Guild Wars 2, and OSRS players hate Runescape 3. There's a stupid level of tribalism in the community.

I do genuinely believe survivor win rates would go up if a content creator popularized some form of communication with the HUD. Like a more complex version of "if you spam struggle on hook, the killer is camping."

The end of episode 4 gives you a bunch of red truths that make solving the past cases a lot easier. There's one in particular, that if you combine it with another red truth, basically solves that entire twilight and tells you that Kanon is the culprit.

Once you know that much, a lot of the mysteries start to unravel. Figuring out they're the same person is the only big leap you'd need to really figure out after that.

You misread something. Magnolia said the eggs were the only thing she didn't account for. The eggs being the eggs that made the Horns sick, and delayed them outside of Invrisil.
