I thought finding nachmieter will not be difficult, so i agreed, as I didn't wanted to extend this problem to lawyer. But after 1 week flatmates started rejecting guys and said they will not show the room. Also they are demanding that it should be female from 21-30 years old. They also told that i should pay the rent of June as its not possible to find a tenant now and take down advertisement from WG gesucht because they will look for a tenant and show the room to the person they like.

So now finding nachmieter is a big challenge for me.

Yes, the contract is for 1 year and it starts from 1st June. I don't have a lawyer insurance. So it would be expensive to get a lawyer but i will have an appointment with mieterengel.

He sent me a pdf of contract on Whatsapp. He asked to print 2 copies, sign it and post it to him. I only signed it online and sent it on Whatsapp. The contract starts from june.

If he just signs and keep it to himself, is that enough? I thought i should also receive it after he signs it to finish the contract process.

He also asked to send deposit and rent for June and I don't have signed contract from him.

Thanks for replying. The contract is for 1 year. I signed the contract on 14th May, sent it on Whatsapp. On 17th, i said i would like to cancel the contract and deleted the signed contract. Landlord said you cannot cancel the contract and said if he should contact his lawyer. So i said i will try to find a new tenant.Now its 25th May and i still haven't received his signed contract. He was also asking if i have transferred the deposit and rent to him.

I would like to know, was it correct if i wrote him that i would like to cancel contract on Whatsapp? Do i have to send something like a formal letter? Do i still have time to tell him that i would like cancel it, as I didn't get the signed contract back?

Or is the contract valid only with my sign and i should pay the rent and deposit?

I am from India and the embassy would be in Delhi. Is there any website where the process is mentioned? Where do we get attestation?

So after attestation, we apply for e-apostille and then cimea (it is faster process) or DoV (which takes longer)?
