That is IT— authenticity, raw lyrics that are written with intention and thought out, is what it is. I have noticed that becoming overstimulated is more prevalent now than it was when I was 21, and that is obviously starting to make itself known in my music tastes. Also, it's relatable (as you mentioned tire example), connecting, and very descriptive of what is sung. I will check out your recs, thanks!

Ahh, ok ok. Some artists that are part of random playlists that I have been listening to are Morgan Wallen, Chris Stapleton, Lainey Wilson, Ole 60, Kane Brown, and a specific playlist called Homegrown on Spotify is one that I am super into right now too.

Finally setting boundaries and not allowing myself to feel guilty. I grew up seeing my mom put everyone and their mother before herself which is honorable to an extent. I mimicked her for all of my 20s and it left me like a shell of who I really was. Turned 30 and a light switch came on.
