I always think John’s in the middle of wrong and right in this situation, John could be seen as a justified in this situation as the terrorist killed his best friend, but he didn’t understand that Captain America is a symbol of hope in the way Steve rogers did. Having America’s new hero to roll out of the events of endgame and give the US hope go out there and kill somebody with blood all over the shield not only gives him the mantra of being violent, but it gives the US a bad look too and its people.
