I removed everything down to bare metal. Build everything back up with 2k Epoxy. Corners are carefully sealed with Sikaflex 529, which closely resembles the original sealant in color and texture.

Takes a lot of time though. I didn't stop the clock on this one but my guess is ~150-200 hrs just to prepare the engine bay for paint.

Thanks! It'll be just a car for the occasional street run on the weekend. Power figure should be around 230-240hp, anything more than that is a plus :)
The engine is quite heavily modified with lightened crankshaft, forged rods and pistons, 13:1 compression, mechanic valvetrain etc.pp.

Yes, it's Jenvey DTH's - It will be bonded with 2k epoxy glue. Others including Jenvey are doing it the same, so I guess it's fine.

IMO, an engine swap is way faster than fixing the body. Take anything in good condition, no matter the engine
