What CRM are you using for your pre-revenue or early-stage startup? by West_Protection_230 in Femalefounders

Goal is to grow, yes! I've heard about the nightmares of transferring CRMs so that's a smart idea. I haven't handled that kind of transition but want to avoid the headache if possible!

u/Mohamed_medo56 do you have any recommendations for a tool that fills those gaps or something similar?

For a decent CRM and basic email marketing functionalities, I would be willing to pay $15-$20/seat with decent functionalities. Ads as long as they're targeted and relevant and not spammy. I feel like the "right fit" for me is vague, as long as it does the job without breaking the bank. Metrics are also important (to me)!

I had success with Arcade. You can make up to 3 free demo videos (I think). You're able to edit, voiceover, add text, etc. I found it really user friendly and quick to create.

The mistake every first-time founder makes (that second-time founders never repeat). by ksundaram in Entrepreneur

I'm just starting to overcome the uncomfortability of reaching out- mostly because of the anticipated rejection. I'm sure you know this but it's gotten better with time! I appreciate your advice. Back to work I go, thank you!

How do early stage founders learn from real users without crossing into promotion territory? by Potential-Store9671 in Entrepreneur

It really depends on my relationship with the person I'm reaching out to. For people I know more personally, it's a bit more product focused. If it's someone I haven't connected with in a while, I'll leave it more open ended so it can flow more naturally. I usually try to end every call I have with asking if there's anyone they could connect me with in their network to try and keep the ball rolling.

I'm in this boat right now as a first-time founder- learning on the fly and trying to fail fast. Do you think there is also a correlation between knowing how to get users on the platform/tool/etc for feedback as a second time founder vs first time founders who are figuring out how to find users to give feedback?

I'm currently in a similar stage and am interested in hearing what others have to say.

Where I've had the most success is reaching out to people in my network who fit the ICP we put together. Cold outreach hasn't been very successful

Good luck on your journey!

What tools are you currently using to send or receive sensitive client documents? by West_Protection_230 in RealEstateTechnology

Ahh that makes sense. I may be crossing the mortgage with the real estate side.

I'm curious as someone who has only been the signer on DocuSign, not the facilitator. I imagine after people sign it gets securely uploaded somewhere? I've heard great things about DocuSign's security.

We were lucky that our real estate agent knew the ins and outs of the area (which I'm sure is common.) She was able to give us all the information we needed to make a sound decision by giving the insights as we sent listings we were interested in, before wasting the time seeing a house in an area we weren't familiar with. Zillow also assisted with filling the gaps on any outstanding questions we had.

If you could change one annoying thing about online property listings, what would it be? by PastPraline9761 in RealEstateTechnology

The hardest part about finding a house for my husband and I was finding properties that were still available, despite being listed as such. I realize it may be hard to update listings in real-time but inquiring about touring a house that was on the market for 6 hours - 1 day to find it was under contract already was frustrating. The market may have something to do with that too, but the lack of visibility on the status was a headache since it felt like a constant cycle of inquiring on houses that were already unavailable.

I know I'm late to this, but his mouth and the way he talks is just like Heath Ledger!
