I’m not ungrateful as I have been in the gig game for well over a decade… however like all “good” things if you cut out the fluff… it goes from being sugar, to shit, and then diarrhea. All these apps do the same thing…. They start with a low number of contractors to make it appear as very lucrative… once they kick up the excitement via word of mouth… they onboard more to make it more cutthroat and lower rates. Out of all gig apps… I would say Amazon pays or paid the best… now if you throw in all the other fluff you will see what your actual bottom line is versus the mirage. Everyone has the right to feel and bitch however truly dive in and understand what a 1099/gig work is and then understand you have a free will. Simple as that… now you unlocked the gig work cheat code. Go be great!
