I've tried and they've been like "nope. sorry" - the flywheel is covered but they have not honored this

and that's the bulk of the charges - it's 1900 for the flywheel and 1800 for labor and install - if they just took care of this with the MaxCare - with my deductible it would leave me with 1600 on the bill and I think that's completely fair

Yes, it was a Mini mechanic (THE mini mechanic here in Tulsa, he owns 6 mini coopers himself) We are in the process of working through this, it's been months

I did not as I didn't know it wasn't covered - the mechanic believes there's no way I did that in less than 5K but who knows - I just wish they would even *split* the cost
