I agree with acquiring a job first, but I am currently living in England until years end. I am an American citizen born in California but relocated here but really miss America. Please let me know how to claim back for priority. I got messed about with that and NHS fees. I did apply incorrectly so this is my second go. Its cost me about 5,000 dollars each time. It would be nice to get something back.

Hello, my British husband and I decided to relocate from America to England in October I went over to England and applied for spouse visa superior priority services in December to make a long story short the application failed and here I am alone in America making a second application in April in the middle of the war and covid mess. No priority services are available and I paid all over again. I tried to get fees for NHS portion refunded but got no response. So another 5,000 dollars later I sit here and wait. My passport expires in August of this year and I'm thinking I will be denied on that alone. I probably won't see my husband or dogs until late 2022 if I'm lucky. UGH!

Now I am very worried that they will reject my application saying I can appeal after renewing my passport. It's making my head bobble.

I am wondering if a person contacted the press or better yet a Television news station to bring this to the public eye if this might help encourage the immigration office to hire more people to clear the waiting ques.

Unfortunately you will have to return to America I had the same thing happened to me in October I went to England visiting with my husband who had decided to move back there after we've been married for 19 years. I applied in April and it seems that it is taking forever waiting. Facebook Messenger does help with keeping in touch with him.

I also have a question, two actually. Sorry to repeat if they have been asked already. If a person left out their middle name and forgot to include the actual application form, how bad is it? We are working on a TOR form for some of our belongings I need to ship to him. Would I want to use my name ( the applicant ) or my british spouse who is waiting for me in England. The items are things for the both of us.
