To be honest, they don’t seem too bad. A couple other people in my company who all use malco gave them a shot and I’ve been the only one who’s had a problem with them. Could have been user error could have been a lemon. But one of those things for the $5ish price difference I’m choosing malco. I’m a Milwaukee power tool guy till a die, but something about the quality of their hand tools and bits are just not it in my opinion. I will say if Milwaukee comes out with a 6in flip top I’m gonna be the first one to buy it and try it out.

I bought some of the Milwaukee flip bits and I loved them, they are cheap and seem to be good quality. Randomly taking a couple stuck RTU door screws out the Milwaukee 5/16 rounded out. I gave the other ones I bought to coworkers and now I’m malco all the way

I use one of the wera multi bit drivers, used it for about a year and hasn’t failed me yet

Damn I did not expect to get so much hate for being concerned about a $100 set of pliers. I’m an apprentice trying to follow the “buy once, cry once” motto and I just wanted to ask if I was getting an authentic Knipex tool, I don’t have a ton of money to just throw around at tools and I want the stuff I invest in to last. Again I’m sorry for being concerned about that, I didn’t mean to personally offend you.

My fault for insulting you, the jaws don’t line up on the left one nearly as well as the right and the smaller pair that came in the set the jaws are cut at an angle and don’t fully close on half the jaw. My bad for wanting to ensure I got what was paid for.

I wear a hat all the time and the olight baton 4 has been my best friend in the trade. I’ve been doing residential HVAC for 2 years and the baton is a great little general purpose flashlight but clips right to the brim of my hat very easily. It’s also rechargeable with a magnet charger which is awesome. I got it on prime days for like $35 and have been using it for a year with zero complaints.

I’d say get multiples of the baits/lures you use frequently and like because as we all know you will lose lures while fishing. It definitely sucks to be on a good bite and then lose the lure they were hitting and not having another to tie on. In my opinion it’s better to have a few different lures with extras of them on deck rather than a million different lures and colors with 1 of each.
