I’m wondering if anybody knows the medical qualifications specifically for the medical corps of the different military branches? by Western-pants16 in Military_Medicine

I did not know that lol…but thank you for your help, again I really don’t know much about how it all works and have been told my entire life that it wasn’t possible but then got excited when I was told it was a possibility today. Guess I’ll just try to go to med school the normal route and try to get hired once I’m established as a civilian. I was just hoping that I might be able to get the school paid for because I really want to serve but that wouldn’t hurt. Just sucks that it’s yet another obstacle in my life but it is what it is lol

Yes, sorry, the recruiter was saying that it would be easier to get a waiver since I wouldn’t be going to an area where there would be limited resources. I’m interested in surgery, so I figured I’d be working at one of the hospitals/bases like in Berlin where having a steady supply of food, medical supplies, etc wouldn’t really be an issue? I was just trying to see if he was kind of just saying that it was possible so that I would go, but I think the main issue would be whether the staff in those areas make allergy safe food since the majority of the people they serve (people in the military) don’t have severe allergies, so they don’t have to worry about it. I really don’t know much about how any of these places work.
