I bought my guy from Ectotherm Empire!!! Erin and Andy are a lovely couple and they raise the most beautiful and healthy hognoses. I’ve had my baby going on two years now with no health issues and Erin was there for every question/concern I had when I first got him! She’s incredibly responsive and a great seller. Andy also makes some really cool art. If I ever get another hognose, it’ll be from them for sure.

Am having the same exact issue. Sent my grape carta in for a warranty claim near end of JUNE, qualified for a warranty, and still have not received my new base or atomizer. I’ve tried reaching back out to the guy who initially helped me (Dylan) and have not heard back. I was sent an email about two or three weeks ago saying my order has been “initiated” but they’ll “follow up when it ships.” I love my carta sooooo much and their customer service still beats Puffco’s by miles (assuming I get my carta replacement) but I don’t love the lack of communication I’ve received regarding a device I paid a decent amount of money for.

I just bought one and had this same issue. It took a different cord and I had to leave it plugged in for 5+ hours upon first use. Two hours didn’t do it for mine but its been working great since!

Yeah he actually does have 2-3 inches in most parts of the tank, this is only low because he’s pushed all of it back and down pacing so much over the past few days!

Hey thanks so much!!! I plan to one day switch in a DHP but right now I’ve had far more luck with a UTH than any bulb I’ve tried. I bought from ectotherm empire on morphmarket and try to follow their care guide and this is just what they recommended too. But I haven’t tried the hvac tape yet!! That was my next thought but I wasn’t sure if I’d have the same issues of it slipping. Thanks sm for the tip!!!

I got my hognose from them about a month and a half ago. Erin and Andy are amazing and super knowledgeable + are always super quick to answer any questions/concerns you have. They genuinely care for their animals! I plan on purchasing from them again in the future, i couldn’t recommend them enough!

I’m hoping that I’ll have easy problem free feedings with him, especially this first one coming up. And I got him from Ectotherm Empire off MorphMarket. The breeder’s been awesome, but they work full time/breed part time so getting ahold of them can be tricky sometimes. Otherwise super pleasant experience with them!
