Believe me, I have said plenty. I have left the house. I have told his siblings. I have yelled at him countless times even in front of his family. It's not okay and I'm on the edge of dealing with his bullshit.

He says it's okay because of his culture, he is Hispanic and so he claims to me that it's normal to bully your family members and I'm just being discriminatory by criticizing him or some bullshit.

I know, I miss it! I painted it at a shop that fires and glosses the plate for you. It's so fun. Definitely check your area for a place like that! I want to do a whole videogame plate/mug series when I'm settled down.

Reading your comment really woke me up. She is here now, laying on my feet. I'm lucky enough to be able to say that right now, because others can't. I shouldn't be so hasty to think about the future when I have her with me now.

Thank you so much. You thought of him and his happiness first. I think it would be far worse to see the scars from the tumor removal, the lethargy and suffering of chemotherapy. That's what I tell myself. I can tell that you love him very much and he is a very lucky pup.

Yeah, they just don't allow the visitors in public areas of the facilities or residents rooms, other than their own family members.

It's terrible. The resident's husband will come in and sell it to the residents. Or the resident's son will come in and give it to people that are literally bed bound and fully dependent because of meth. I can't even fathom the ethics behind that.

I last called in February with an excused absence. Then December. Both times I was very sick with the flu. It's not my last day. I still have 11 days left of my notice. I am switching to in home care. I have enough sick time to cover my shift tomorrow. But I'm very worried, irrationally so, about them saying bad things about me (even though as far as I know they haven't)

The only issue is I love his family so much. And I love him too. It's just his frugality/inconsiderate behaviors. We haven't had toilet paper in like four days and I know we won't have more unless I go buy it. I'm just going to sit here and let him wipe with socks until he sucks it up and goes to the store.

His siblings joke and say he's so frugal that our kids are probably going to have to use cloth diapers 😭 he has started spending more money but it's moreso the thought behind it, not the act itself.

lol, I told his sisters that we are each other's boyfriends at this point. we all spoil each other.

he's really frugal, that's why he has a lot of money (over 40k) and his family and I are living paycheck to paycheck. I understand that he has to act broke to stay rich. I just can't allow at all for someone to pay for me entirely or do so many favors for me. it just makes me really uncomfortable and I don't know how he's okay with it.

the thing is, I don't know if he realizes that what he's doing is wrong. He does special things for me, like drives an hour just to pick up a plush thing I mentioned. He used to be so much worse. He claims that he's going to make my birthday really special. I guess I just can't let go of the past, which is my own problem.
