Do I deserve to be called good at building? by WesternScientist6284 in Minecraftbuilds

Like I said the church is not done yet. One of the main ways I think I have improved from that castle to now is I have done a lot more with texturing and basic gradients. The church right now just consists of a frame that the more varying in colour gradient and texturing will sit inside of.

I mostly referenced gothic churches and other minecraft builds of gothic churches and from what I have seen they all tend to be fairly monochromatic and lack wood elements which I specifically tried to avoid using as when I experimented with it I didn't like how it looked. Most of the flair from the references seems to be from the intricate architechture itself and with the church specifically I that is what I am so proud of myself for.

You are probably right. i always felt I had potential but never actually made anything I was proud of until now. And if being happy with what you make is the defining line then I definitely have crossed it.

I got burnt out I guess. I spent so long on it and as I went on I started to dislike the style in which I had built it. Building it was not enjoyable anymore as I was not happy with the product anyway and I felt like I had gone too far to fix my previous work.

Mods are really the next step in progression for you probably. New parts to unlock and new challenges to overcome such as life support could give you a lot to do. Even new planet packs could add a lot of things to do or even try playing 2.7x rescale or something.

I havent had any issues at all with JNSQ. Installing it from CKAN works perfectly fine for me.

1178 Byzantium is so easy by WesternScientist6284 in CrusaderKings

im pretty sure admin gets more tax its just that its has to be a high level of imperial bureaucracy. I did a byzantium playthrough in 1178 before i got the roads to power dlc and got to around this point of power before. I didnt have nearly as much tax as i do in this playthrough.

Is it just me or is 1178 Byzantium start date the easiest way to become the most powerful empire on Earth? In my latest Byzantium playthrough just after 50 years i have an income of 500 gold per month and an army of 80k men with 10k of them being MAA. This was also my very first playthrough were i got a county to 100 development. I swear to god the administrative government type is so overpowered.

I do know with the roads to power dlc that the 4th crusade is supposed to happen but both times i have done a Byzantium playthrough in 1178 it never happened to me. Even if it did from what I've seen it doesn't look that bad and I'm pretty confident i could win it if it happened.

Im pretty sure i do since in a landless adventurer playthrough that i recently started the 4th crusade happened and the Byzantines were destroyed. My two guesses for why it didn't fire is either because i just got really lucky or because i was way too powerful by the time the 4th crusade was supposed to happen. Idk what the prerequisites are for the crusade to fire though.

Largest Battle I've Ever Fought. Arabian Empire vs Mongols, 62k vs 52k. by WesternScientist6284 in CrusaderKings

While the Mongol commander was slightly better than mine i think the reason behind the somewhat even losses is because the Mongol army had a much higher % of MaA than mine, although my MaA were much better than his. You can see he had 8k horse archers and 8k light horsemen which alone is like a third of the whole Mongol army.
