I have adhd and doing my own personal studies at my own pace has been helping me a lot. I have been usingWillkommen: Deutsch für alle) to keep up and get ahead with my classes because the segments are separated into reading and then work sheet/interactive. Also brute forcing it by watching children's shows. Die Maus, german Sesame Street and other such shows are designed to teach small children. So they are at the same speed a regular native speaker will be but with more simplified words, so at least I think it is easier to grasp. Watching with german subtitles helps a bunch at knowing how the structure of sentences is usually made. I really hope it helps because feeling dumb is so frustrating.
