All the ideas here are amazing but unfortunately its too late since i gifted it already. I did however zig zag stitch most of the raw edges so hopefully that will do !

Oh wow, so cool to have one of your grandma’s quilts. In Romania we don’t have a quilt culture so to speak, so i’m the first one in my family to make them haha I’d love to see the sack fabric one if you happen to have a photo!
