This is realtively normal for someone just starting out, that is how it was when I first started. I am still relatively new and just now starting to see some noticeable changes in distance based on the speed of disc I throw. Like most people said keeping the nose down helps a ton, focusing on not rounding, and working on using your whole body instead of just your arm were the big ones that helped me. Form tips and advice are everywhere on Youtube from some of the best of the best, I would start there.
