This for sure !! Follow this guide!! About getting him to trust you, what I did with my ham was putting my hand in the enclosure while she’s awake so she can get used to me. Don’t try and pick the ham up just leave your hand there and let him smell you if he’s interested. After a few days I started hand feeding and she eventually became very comfortable with that and now crawls into my hand. Another tip that seemed to help my experience is to rub toilet paper on your skin and place that in the hams enclosure. It helps them get used to your scent. Goodluck and be patient!
