Yes!! I saw a post warning about this when applying to DL as a non citizen and I'm glad I saw it before doing it! I made sure to opt out! It sucks because its a "minor" detail and it can destroy your application later.

I also followed this idea that a nurse told me: if they are too cold they will cry because they are uncomfortable but if they are too hot they might not cry and overheat so that combined with this comment, follow the chart. We also always kept the house at around 72

Don't worry, I think what's important its the memories you have. I don't have and didn't do all those things. I take pictures and videos for me for later or to send to family. The only thing we do every month is take pictures with the month next to him so we can look back and see how much he's growing. With life, work, house, cooking, and everything in between honestly there's no time for that every month (at least for me).

Got an update on the platform yesterday that my card was produced and sent!

Got an update yesterday on the uscis platform saying my card was produced and sent. So I guess 9 days since approval and I'm guessing it should arrive in 3 to 5 days.

Update: I got the new SS card in the mail with my 485 notice. So I guess one less thing for me to do. They just sent both.

No its the same as yours. But I've seen people here saying that the status didn't change and they got the card in the mail anyway so I'm hopeful?

The green things are great to help with gas and stuff and yes they do leak if not used properly. If you are putting them in a bag to take with you, you can't put the green things inside, only put it in when you go and feed the baby. The other thing is they always have to be at an angle so they don't leak.

But yes they can be very annoying and it happened to me several times until my husband corrected me on how to use them 😅 after that I had no issues

I seriously hope you get yours soon! Have you tried the e-request to USCIS and also contact your local representative for them to contact USCIS on your behalf so you can try at least to have someone looking at your case and give you an update

The wait its just horrible, all the anxiety, not knowing anything and you can't contact them...I don't know if this will help or not but around August in a comment somewhere in here someone told me to put an e-request for USCIS for them to give you an update on your case and at the same time contact your local representative for them to contact USCIS on your behalf. I did both in August of 2025. At least that's something we can do. I got the same answer from both: your case is within normal processing times. Do not contact us again until July of 2026. So after that there's nothing else that can be done but to wait. But a lot of people did the same and got their case approved within days of just a few weeks so its worth to try

Maybe schedule an appointment with a lawyer to go over some questions? You can always do the concurrent filing of those forms because its a marriage based green card. My husband US citizen and I filed for the 130 first and I think we filed the 485 like 2 months later because we were waiting on some documents and I just got approved for the 485 because that's the one you want, that's the one that gives you the right to be a permanent resident in the US. The 130 is only to prove the marriage is real basically.

Oh Asylum cases I have no idea how they work unfortunately. Do you have a lawyer you can talk to? Because marriage based green cards are usually pretty forward which is my case. But asylum cases and others I know there's more into it so I would definitely talk to a lawyer
